Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing the integrated route to market strategy,
- Develop and implement wholesale activation program
- Distributor performance tracking: Pre/Post expansion Sales, Back office
- Drive team work by introducing and following up Distributor supervisor team meetings
- Manage an efficient and effective distribution force ensuring on-the job training, motivation and staff development. Facilitate "POSITIVE" roll out in their respective territories
- Keep area managers fully informed at all times of objectives, progress and future action plan in order that effective planning and in-market activities can be implemented.
- Develop and implement regional operational plan with trade program customized for the region to ensure objectives (volume, margin, distribution, visibility, quality & customer price of products) are achieved for the region
- Management of credit risk directives and costs ensuring trade spend effectiveness across the region covering and in line with company policies.
- Evaluates the ROI of activity implemented into the market and provides feedback of results to establish Best Practice.
- Ensure that regional team is well-trained on Company systems: 70-20-10
- Champion innovation in development of trade program and actively contribute to corporate and brand advocacy in order to ensure competitive advantage in the region.
- Introduce and establish best practice approach and know-how of regional operation plan then share to ensures the regional team are kept fully informed and briefed through effective communication of objectives, progress and future action plan in order that effective planning and in-market activities can be implemented.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Trade/Sales at manager level in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company that has incorporated a trade channel and account management approach.
- Ideally, not less than five years' experience in tobacco or a similar FMCG category
- Experience in negotiation.
- Good communicator
