Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Head of Function to develop and implement strategies and plans to engage with both internal and external stakeholders in such a manner that the disposition funnel is positively affected.
- Provide strategic and operational advice to Head of Function to ensure the efficacy of their stakeholder engagement plans.
- Develop and in-depth analysis of the stakeholder database and issue reports on demand to stakeholder group owners.
- Actively participate in the strategy development and decision-making processes on reputation and regulatory initiatives within Company Cambodia and Area.
- Analyze and interpret information relating to activities, issues and events potentially impacting upon the business to ensure that Head of Function and Leadership Team have a clear visibility of economic, political, regulatory and social environments in which the legal and external affairs strategy and plans are reflected and aligned in order that remedial actions can be taken as required.
- Effectively manage external agencies so that such agencies perform in line with the requirements of the brief.
- Provide strategic and tactical advice to Head of Function in responding to developments in the market.
- Improve working relations with all key stakeholders in order to strengthen partnerships for mutual benefits.
- Ensure that Head of Function and Leadership Team are aware of the activities of the international and local aid agencies in Cambodia – seek opportunities for the Company to improve its image through targeted sponsorship and assist in the implementation of these.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum - Communications related Diploma or MA/BA Degree with 3 years public relation work experience
- High level of oral and written communication skills in both English and Khmer.
- Can communicate factual and conceptual information clearly, concisely and in an appropriate style for the audience
- Good planning, project management skills and problem resolution skills; able to successfully manage several projects simultaneously
- Strong influencing skills
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Office packages is a must
- Understand both local and international political, social, economic, regulatory and legal environment/landscape.
