Job Responsibilities:
- The Cost Accounting Manager is leader of the Costing team with responsibilities for:
- Inventory Costing, including Raw Materials, Semi Finished Goods and Finished Goods
- Sales pricing/Invoicing of Inventory to Saji Bumi/EMCAT
- Sales of Consignment products
- Maintenance of the Bills of Materials[BoM] and Inventory Masterfile
- Leading, managing and Developing/Coaching the staff
- Financial & Management Reporting
- Preparation of Monthly Actual Landed Cost Report [for Supply Chain and Brand Managers]
- Monthly “Ex-Works” Price Movement Report month on month trend
- Cost of Goods Sold movements and variances vs Budget/Forecast
- Inventory Usage and Price variances Provide input into the Central Kitchens and Krispy Kreme Factory store profitability and costs
- Report to Brand Managers JWD Warehouse and logistics costs and explain any major change
- Report to Brand Managers/GM on cost of Expiring Inventor
- Report to Brand Managers/GM on Utensils and Uniform being charged to P&L
- Business Partnering/Planning, Reporting & Performance Analys
- Business Partnering/Planning, Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Business Partnering/Planning, Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Recommend Revisions of Standard Costs where the Standard is no longer appropriate/accurate
- Manage the Costing team and ensure major ex-works and landed costs changes are reported to Management and cause [ex-works, freight, import duties ...etc.]
- Explain JWD logistics costs
- Explain JWD logistics costs
- Transaction Processing and Financial Databases: Inventory
- Manage the transaction processing for all Inventory purchases either through Petty Cash or normal Vendor Purchases, including A/P entries.
- Approve updates/changes to Inventory master files as updated by Supply Chain [UoM, Codes, Packing sizes …etc.]
- Calculate the updated monthly Selling Price for Inventory Sales to Saji Bumi/EMCAT
- Review/approve the Invoice for Sales to Saji Bumi/EMCAT
- Review/approve Consignment Sales of Krispy Kreme
- Accounts Payable
- Reconcile Company Statements and communicate to Company on any under/over charges
- Reconcile JWD Statements and communicate to JWD on any under/over charges
- Inventory Costing and Management
- Work with Logistics Team to do “Ex-works” to DAP and Landed Costs calculations
- Work with Supply Chain Manager on Inventory listing and expired/expiring Inventory
- Ensure regular/cycle counts of physical inventory checks at Store differences investigated and the system updated
- Ensure full physical count at JWD are carried out differences investigated and the system updated
- Treasury/Cash Management
- Provide forecast outflows for payments to major Inventory suppliers
- Taxation [Indirect]
- Calculate/approve Import Duty and Special Tax rates
- Update Management on any changes in Import duties and Special Taxes and “Form D” applications
- Support Group and Company Tax Manager with respect to Transfer -Pricing studies/policies. To be done in future]
- Support Company Tax with regard questions/documents from Tax Audits
Job Requirements:
- Education level
- Bachelor Degree in Finance & Accounting
- Product Costing and Variance Analysis
- Inventory management knowledge
- ERP knowledge
- MS Excel and reporting tools
- Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Management position within a -significant finance function
- Supervisory/leadership/management skills
- Experience in the Food / FMCG business an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of integrated ERP Systems
