Job Responsibilities:
1. Directs and monitors all new installation projects to ensure that every project is completed on time, meet with the required company standards and be able to gain the target profitability or at least be within cost limitations.
2. Supervises and provides guidelines to project manager/engineers in managing project cost (e.g. imported material cost, local material cost, labor cost and labor efficiency, variation cost, etc.) to achieve higher positive PPG.
3. Managing, Training and growing resources to align with strategic capacity planning with continuous certification program
4. Supervises and monitors the testing processes after installation to ensure that the final products are safe and passed SAIS inspection, reliable and meet all clients’ requirements.
5. Provides guidelines for the analysis of elevator operational issues and technical problems to ensure that staff can find the root causes and come up with appropriate solutions.
6. Selects, supervises, and monitors the contractors in each project to ensure that the company standard requirements (skills, price, etc.) are met and the project finished on time as scheduled.
7. Provides advice regarding construction issues and maintains a good relationship with all stakeholders (clients, contractors, architects, etc.) to ensure that projects are completed on time with high satisfaction, able to collect the invoices as planned and thereby leading to a long-term relationship.
8. Through the coordination with Logistics function, plans and controls the cost and orders of imported and local materials and equipment to ensure that they are delivered on time as planned and therefore save project’s cost as much as possible.
9. Coaches and provides necessary training and development for all subordinates to increase their capabilities, productivity, efficiency, creativity and motivation that will support both current company goals and long term business growth.
Job Requirements:
- Professional experience 5 to 7 years in Project management in elevator industry or construction related business, with minimum 3 years in management position
- Good command of English
- Good command of computer skills
- Has conceptual understanding in technical engineering regarding elevator installations with knowledge of construction works.
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering subject. Has knowledge in Commercial and Financial concepts
- Understanding of industry and overall business, flexibility and ability to visualize the big picture, good communication and human relation skills
