Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, investigate and resolve security breaches;
- Collaborate and coordinate security operations and investigation activities with public law enforcement, police and other agencies;
- Coordinate activities of a case investigation team to ensure proper investigation and efficient handling of security related cases;
- Establish case objectives and supply investigators/collections specialists with the required motivation and counsel necessary for resolving an issue;
- Monitor and coordinate the operations to ensure timely resolution of cases and compliance with set standards for case handling;
- Conducting and supervising investigations to discover the facts of a case and identify root causes;
- Liaise with the other departmental heads to develop and implement effective case resolution strategies;
- Analyse and evaluate current operation and control procedures to identify risks, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement;
- Monitor security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives;
- Utilize IT systems in managing case files to ensure accurate record keeping and proper organization of information;
- Produce reports for management on security status, actual or potential problems.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant experience in investigation authorities, security administration, police forces, federal agencies or similar field;
- Proven experience as security manager or similar position will be an asset;
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, criminal justice or in other similar management degree/diploma;
- Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct research and surveys to obtain information useful in resolving a case;
- Problem-solving Skills: Skills in developing solutions effective for addressing an issue;
- Communication Skills: Well versed in interacting with internal and external parties to establish case objectives;
- Multi-tasking and able to prioritize duties;
- Committed and reliable;
- English – proficiency;
- Computer literacy
