- Design system for new requirements & specify impacts against the existing programs; - Create Technical Specification that fits user’s requirements; - Enhance existing system and specify the impact; - Maintain and document the changes resulted from the implementation of changes; - Meet the user requirements & prepare the technical specifications; - Conduct unit testing & complete the assignments within the agreed deadline; - Review the quality of the accomplished programs/systems before acceptance testing - Help the business analyst to define the errors within the agreed time; - Create effective and efficient flow of the programs & raise the issues to supervisor if any; - Conduct the system analysis with business analyst; - Develop functionality to meet defined business requirements; - Test unit functionality to ensure it is compliant with business requirements; - Analyze problems, then bring up and implement appropriate technical solutions; - Understand the overall of LIFE/Asia system is an advantage; - Document technical specification, business specification, system integration test, unit testing, test case & test scenario;

- Degree in computer science or engineering; - Experience in doing programming preferably using COBOL in AS/400 or SMART; - Minimum 3 years of experience in application development; - Analytical skill & knowledge of Window Server, Linux, Unix and Programming Language; - Responsible & committed to executing various experiments as per plan; - Teamwork and demonstrates intellectual curiosity; - Experience in insurance systems is an advantage
