** Operations Manager In an International Freight Forwarding Company. ** Directs and coordinates activities of employees engaged in Air & Sea Freight operations and ensures profitability by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors : - Manage existing Air/Sea freight key accounts and identify prospective customers for business expansion - Drafting of quotations to meet customers’ requirements - To drive and support the sales team’s efforts for achieving the overall ocean freight sales target - Contributing in business development and strategic proposals for FCL/LCL Air freight product development/ LCL consolidation. - Maintain sales report and monitor customer’s payment matters - Oversee timely and accurate movement of Air export/import and documentation. - Ensure employees comply with rate and service requirements established by customers. - Ensure established margins and budgetary target are met. - Assigns specific duties to supervisors and staff as required. - Ensures all employees are fully trained in all aspects of their job as well as cross-trained in other areas when possible. - Assists employee in the sea freight department with any questions or situations that arise with shipments, customers requests, vendors - Manages and controls all ground cost and revenues. - Prepares monthly activity / revenue report - Prepare and provide customers and overseas office with rate quotations - Completes yearly employee performance reviews - Liaison with all related vendors to ensure highest level of service is achieved - Assists and answers customer inquiry and other related customer service functions. - Ensure continuous improvement processes to increase efficiencies, reduces waste and improve performance to our customers. - Ensure entries are processed through Customs timely and accurately. - Maintain Powers of Attorney as well as customer profiles. Process and issue duty check payments to Customs. - Other tasks as requested from Management.

** Background Education & Experiences : - Generally at least 3 year experience in Ocean/Air freight field of Export/Import /Freight Forwarding Industry. - Diploma/ Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management/ Transport Management or equivalent - Bachelor's Degree required. ** Skills & Knowledge : - Operational know-how (Customer Service, Document Processing Exp & Imp, Customs Clearance Import) - Know how in procurement (negotiation, etc.) and capacity management processes - Basic business administration competence Management skills - People Management and Leadership - Structured, logical and analytical thinking skills. - Organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign and control) - Decision-making capabilities - Communication & Interpersonal skills - Independent and pro-active working attitude (creative, self-motivating, etc.) - PC software application skills (Excel, Word, Notes) - Good collaboration and multitasking skills - Honest, active, high discipline - Sufficient computer literacy (Microsoft Word/Excel/Power-point) - Able to work under pressure - Show “can do” attitude - Be a team player, detailed and accurate ** Other requests : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. ** Benefit - Parole statutory payments based on Labor Laws of the country - Friendly working environment - The right salary offer to the right capacity and experience candidate - Bonus payment based on performance achieved - Annual Leave based on labor laws of the country ** Contact Email : bichvo@expofreight.com
