Job Description • He/she needs to support to increase business/occupancy through establishing and maintaining good relationships with a number of clients, working to meet sales targets. • Develop new business wherever possible from identified market segments and sources of business. • Attend trade shows, promotions, etc. representing hotel in general to keep a high profile in the marketplace. • Distribute corporate directories and other sales collateral as appropriate. • Carry out the sales solicitation strategy developed for all applicable markets. • Assist in the training of teams ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency. • Respond to any changes in the departmental function as dictated by the industry, company, or hotel.

Requirements • Possess good sales techniques and negotiation skills. • Be passionate and have the drive and determination to meet/exceed set goals. • Good communication skills. • Proficient in common Microsoft software such World and Excel. • Possess customer-handling techniques. • Able to co-ordinate work processes in a systematic manner. • Able to react fast but calmly in the midst of any co-ordination problems. • Must possess a patient, pleasant personality. • Comfortable in dealing with all levels of people. • A Diploma or higher education preferred. • 2 - 3 years’ experience in an international hotel or equivalent sales role.
