Duties and Responsibilities/Customer Service:

• Establish & maintain multiple ways of communicating with existing customers/at all working levels

• Identify/update customer needs/communicate to port personnel/manage feedback

• Identify when cargo is anticipated to arrive at port; inform port personnel; participate in coordination of customs declaration/discharge/storage of cargo; communicate plan to customer/manage customer expectations

• Coordinate with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction

• Identify/work to establish and meet customer service goals

• Assist accounting team in collection of receivables

• Submit monthly customer report to senior management listing customers/activity/issues/problems

• Actively participate in monthly management meetings

• Arrange senior management meetings with customers as needed

Duties and Responsibilities/Marketing:

• Develop/update database/knowledge of regional international ports-customers-costs-issues

• Develop/propose annual port marketing plan to senior management• Implement approved marketing plan

• Identify/present different communication platforms for consideration• Develop/update list of potential customers

• Submit monthly marketing report to senior management

• Recommend joining various logistics associations

• At least 5 years of experience in the logistics business/preferably at a port

• Proven success in sales within transportation industry

• Knowledge of English

• Knowledge of Thai/Chinese a plus
