Trade and Customer Service

• Work closely with the trade and customer service team to ensure the quality of work and team collaboration.
• Coordinate and update rolling in system.
• Manage Chinese accounts, customer and all stakeholders
• Proactively developing, managing, and strengthening relationships with our key Chinese Forwarder and Shipper accounts. This involves understanding their unique business
• needs, anticipating challenges, and consistently delivering value.
• Strengthening and proactively managing relationships with key Chinese Forwarder and Shipper accounts. This includes understanding their unique business needs, anticipating
• challenges, and consistently delivering value.
• Provide necessary quotations to customers, especially Chinese accounts.
• Actively participate in One force sale activities
• Actively promote trade and sale activities to boost sales.
• Other ad hoc tasks assigned by manager.
• Strategic Contribution: Gathering valuable market intelligence, contributing to sales strategies, and supporting the Head of Marketing & Commercial on various strategic initiatives as required.

• A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in sales or account management within the shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or a related maritime industry. Experience specifically working with Chinese forwarders/shippers is highly advantageous.
• Absolute fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is essential to effectively communicate with our key client base.
• Exceptional Relationship Builder: Track record establishing rapport and trust with diverse clients.
• Excellent negotiation skill, proven success negotiating and closing sales.
• Able to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication, clear, concise, and persuasive communicator (spoken, written, and digital).
• Comfortable and competent with core sales and operational digital tools.
