** Areas of duties and responsibilities/accountabilities 1. Follow AHC social work procedures 2. Conduct psychological assessments 3. Conduct Financial Assessments 4. Provide emotional/counseling support and social service consultations 5. Organize and manage packages of support from hospital 6. Connect patients and families in need with the various local NGO’s working in the social services sector. Strive not to duplicate existing local resources but rather to utilize them 7. Cooperate with medical staff to provide quality care to patient and families 8. Liaising with and making referrals to other agencies 9. Participate in multidisciplinary teams and meetings regarding child protection and support patients and their families or caretakers 10.Facilitate medical examinations and process evidence records as needed 11.Follow up and visit patients and their families 12.Maintain accurate records and prepare reports 13.Participate in training and team meetings 14.Provide supervision to other staff and assist with management of difficult cases 15.Some other reasonable tasks as assigned by Team Leader of Social Workers or Unit Manager

Jobs Requirement

** Qualifications 1. Holder of this position should have the following minimum of education requirements: 2. University degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or other related field. Skills and knowledge 1. Experience working in Social work field is a plus 2. Experience working with vulnerable children especially children who have been abandoned or have HIV 3. Experience providing emotional and counseling support 4. Experience of working in assessment of financial condition 5. Previous experience working in medical setting is a plus but Not required 6. Willing to going out to community to assess patient condition 7. Enthusiastic and hard working 8. Honest and trustworthy 9. Good interpersonal skills 10.Good communication skills with communities and local authorities ** Other qualification 1. Good Computer Skill (Word, Excel, Power Point) 2. Good written and spoken English and Khmer 3. Ability to learn and adopt new skills.
