- Perform conventional X-rays (by using manual and automatic film developers). - Document findings and diagnosis/differential diagnosis. - Supervise radiation protection measures for patients and other staff members - Perform routine cleaning, preventative maintenance and quality control procedures for all equipment and tests performed. - Recognize and identify equipment malfunctions and problems with test(s) - Prepare a summary of departmental activities and give information to senior management as needed. - Ensure that the radiology department is adequately stocked. - Interface with patients and families to ensure that care is consistent with their expectations continually look to improve patient care. - Support the SKMH strategic and operational plans. - Follow the policies and procedures that guide and support the clinical staff continually look to improve operational efficiency. - Support the SKH programs that foster continued clinical development of staff. - Maintain required records and forms. - Ensure compliance with established hospital policies, procedures, objectives, safety. Environmental and infection control. Hold yourself and other staff accountable to established requirements - Perform other related duties incidental to the success of the radiology technician activities of the SKMH
