Jobs Description

This person will support the steering committee of a university in all of its administrative needs in managing the university. He/she will be the first point of contact for persons seeking support from the steering committee. He/she must be highly organized, capable of multi-tasking, good at summarizing and communicating information. This role may later transition into assisting the President, staff at the university, and other stakeholders such as government ministries, advisors and partners. This includes collecting, summarizing and triaging requests from different departments, communicating to department heads and staff on behalf of the committee, scheduling, attending, and/or taking notes at meetings, responding to emails. The overall job description below outlines the main areas of responsibilities of the Employee: - Be present at the Steering Committee’s office and manage incoming emails and requests; - Collect, summarize and triage requests and information from different departments; - Communicate requests to committee on a daily basis; - Schedule, attend and or take notes at meetings; - Communicate with heads of department; and - Translate Khmer documents into English from time to time. - Primarily deals with internal students matters and also ensures safety and security of students on field trips - Perform other related duties as required.

Jobs Requirement

** Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution in Cambodia or abroad. Some education overseas, preferred. • Experience: 4 years of work experience in a demanding administrative role, preferably working for CEO or a head of department. Could be secretarial role. • Skills/Competencies:  Strong spoken and written English and Khmer;  Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel; and  Ability to use design software a plus. • Personal Quality:  Very organized;  Ability to prioritize;  Confident, personable and pleasant.
