- Assist the teacher in planning and maintaining a safe, clean, learning environment and in ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the children in his/her care - Supervise students in the class, in the schoolyard, and during arrival and drop-off times - Exhibit genuine nurturing, caring attitude to all children. Maintain a positive, calm attitude and a soft voice. Encourage this attitude and voice in others working in the classroom. - Maintain a cooperative attitude of working together with the teacher, volunteers, parents, and administration in planning and implementing activities - Assist the teacher in implementing the developmental assessment for each child to determine the child’s strengths and areas in which each child may need help - Plan with and assist the teacher in preparing materials and supplies in advance for activities. Assist the teacher in maintaining confidential child classroom folder - Observe children to detect signs of illness, injury, emotional disturbance, learning disorder, speech problem, or other special needs, and immediately report observation to teacher for follow up. - Assume the teacher’s full role in the absence of the teacher. - Assist the teacher in safeguarding all classroom supplies and equipment - Other tasks assigned by the management.

- One-year teaching experience with young leaners - Love for working with kids, patient and the ability to make learning fun for kids - Self-motivated, take initiative, sensible and team spirit - Be punctual and have a high sense of responsibility - Excellent in English – spoken and written forms - Good planning and organizing skills - High school graduate with some experience working with children of preschool age - Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
