Overview ● Overseeing all technology-related Network operations and ensuring high availability ● Ensuring customer satisfaction, communications and quick issue resolution ● Devising and establishing policies and procedures to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management Job brief We are looking for an experienced Network Operations Manager to oversee all Network-related functions in our company. You will be in charge of a team of Analysts and Engineers and manage the company’s day-to-day network operations and the implementation of new network equipment and policies. An excellent Network Operations Manager is very knowledgeable in network technologies. They have a solid technical background while able to manage and motivate people. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and implementing policies and procedures that will meet objectives. The goal is to ensure Network systems and staff are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time and specifications of the company, and delivering excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities ● Oversee all network operations to ensure the highest possible availability, and quickest possible resolution when issues arise ● Act as the top point of contact for customer issues ● Plan and implement transition to a 24-hour Network Operations Center ● Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure ● Devise and establish policies, procedures and the systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management ● Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software ● Inspect the use of equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency ● Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new equipment or systems and report to upper management ● Coordinate Network projects and supervise Analysts, Engineers and other professionals to provide guidance ● Control budget and report on expenditure ● Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts

● Proven experience as Network Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role ● Proven hands-on network engineering experience ● Experience in analysis, implementation and troubleshooting of network systems ● Sound understanding of network systems, equipment, software and supporting systems ● Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, etc.) ● In-depth familiarity with network equipment (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, GPON, etc.) ● Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model ● Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network and BI analytics tools ● Experience in controlling network technology budget ● Excellent organizational and leadership skills ● Outstanding communication abilities ● CCNA (or equivalent such as JNCIA, HCNA, etc.) or higher, or adequate proven work experience ● University degree in Computer Science or a related subject or equivalent work experience
