** DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EMPLOYEE: * Curriculum Development and Design - Formulate educational goals based on school vision and philosophy - Translate goal statement into objective format - Project preliminary budget and resources - Design school curriculum with the standards from Common Core States Standard - Suggest cooperative and project-based learning approach and Montessori - ICT will be very much integrated into the learning activities (Will provide support) * Curriculum Development and Management - Curriculum development in the classroom - Determine teaching tasks and student outcomes - Match objectives to student abilities - Design instructional process - Deliver the planned curriculum - Use feedback to analyze curriculum and instruction - Adjust instructional delivery * Staff management - Managing teaching and professional staff - Supervise, train, schedule and dismiss teaching staff - Fostering a culture that embraces a common vision with staff for school improvement and development. - Directing the planning activities and implement collaborative program with staff to ensure accomplishment of those goals. - Supervising the preschool staff. When staff members do not follow rules and guidelines, the Principal redirects staff to correct the problem. - Making sure criminal background checks for all personnel are clean and clear. * Meeting with Families Preschools depend on consumers of their services in order to be successful. The consumers of preschool services must feel confident that the school provides a useful service for a reasonable fee. The preschool Principal meets with parents to answer questions, give tours of the preschool and sells the service the preschool provides. Parents often come with a list of questions. The preschool principal must think fast on her feet and put forward a positive image of the school * Evaluate school operations and performance objectives - Develop educational performance objectives for the teaching staff and students - Conduct evaluations of staff every 03 months - Oversee student evaluation and assessment - Lead ongoing program evaluation, including curriculum standards and curriculum development
