- Responsible to check the quantities of all required material and scope of work for the project - Design and prepare plans for using Computer-Aided design and drafting (CADD) software - Produce effective product designs by using their understanding of engineering and manufacturing techniques - Add structural details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques - Interpret architectural and engineering drawings Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects - Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques - Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects - Specify dimensions, material, and procedures for new building projects or products

- Education: Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural engineering - Computer fluency in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint - Good interpersonal skills must be able to communicate well with staff - Excellent communicator with impressive numeracy skills to handle the financial and mathematical demands of the role - Demonstrate innovative approaches to problem-solving and an ability to negotiate across the various levels of any construction environment - Strong team player, working effectively with all staff members at all levels - A positive work ethic with excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines
