- Monitor continually, control and ensure the health and safety of LBL Staff and its subcontractors on site - Provide safety induction to all newcomers and visitors and hold regular safety meetings - Enforce safety measures at all time and prevent accidents from happening - Schedule health, safety and security inspections and implement corrective actions and improvements, ensure the presence of fire prevention equipment, safety equipment, and first-aid supplies - Ensure implementation of safety plan as per the management directive Authorities: - Check and make sure safety rules and regulations and equipment are in conformity with the company standards - Stop the work if some workplace/actions are or become unsafe - Minimize the exposure to safety-related risks of LBL personnel and its subcontractors - Inspect, evaluate and analyse work environments, equipment and practices from a safety at work standpoint - Monitor and record list of hazard material on site (file all MSDS - Material safety data sheet - as required) - Recommend measure to control, eliminate and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical and biological agents or ergonomic factors and help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or material. Investigate health-related complaints - Check pollution and housekeeping - Ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations on the health and safety individuals and monitor introduction of new laws - Organize and monitor safety training and education programs, in liaison with training centers and facilitators - Investigate and report on all incident and near misses that occur on site. Assist injured parties, and department heads to complete the incident forms - Prepare statistics for the project - Check and ensure all workers and staff wear the proper PPE (Personal protective equipment)

- Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent - At least 1 year work experience in Safety preferably in the construction field - Computer fluency in word, Excel and Powerpoint - Good interpersonal skills, must be able to communicate well with staff - Excellent communicator with impressive numeracy skills to handle the financial and mathematical demands of the role - Demonstrate innovative approaches to problem-solving and an ability to negotiate across the various levels of any construction environment - Strong team player, working effectively with all staff members at all levels - Global mindset, pro-active, analytical, problem-solving, paired with a very clear hands-on mentality
