Jobs Description

- Prepare weekly AR reports. - Prepare Statement of Account at the end of the month for each travel agent or other credit customers. - Prepare periodic A/R Aging reports. - Prepare monthly AR collection target reports - Prepare monthly AR collection reports - Assist with month-end closing. - Monitor and follow up on the debt collections. - Prepare room commission to Account Payable for payment to agencies as agreed by contract. - Update daily A/R sub-ledger and check the balance in the General Ledger. - Prepare monthly payment journal vouchers according to the payment collection. - Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records. - Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc. - Process credit card payments. - Prepare cash and check payments for bank deposit. This usually requires totaling and recording the deposit amounts, filling out deposit slips, and bundling the funds and slips. You may also be responsible for making deposits at the bank. - Investigate and resolve customer queries. - Process adjustments. -Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Research any discrepancies by checking bills, invoices, sales receipts and bank deposit records. - You may perform this duty daily, weekly or monthly. Organizing a recovery system and initiate collection efforts. - Assist with month-end closing. - Collect data and prepare monthly metrics. - Liaise closely with customers i.e. travel agents, corporate and individual. - Liaise closely with customers in a friendly and firm manner.

Jobs Requirement

- At least 1 year working experience in Hotel Industry - - -- - Studying Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance - Knowledge of accounts receivable. - Knowledge of office administration and procedures. - Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures. - Knowledge of general accounting principles. - Proficient in relevant computer software. - Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
