•This role manages the product range of the Business Unit, inclusive of assisting product marketing. Manage new product development /modifications process and ensure timely delivery /execution of product launches /modifications within the product development process. He/she monitors Product related Market intelligence, inclusive of product mix targets and ensure Product Management related KPI’s are achieved. The role strengthens the strategy formulation process via market and customer insights and act as institutionalized knowledge base. Key Responsibilities: •Coordinate product development ensuring timely delivery of project deadlines whilst adhering to the product process guidelines and risk standards •Ensure availability of product/market related MI to identify trends and insights •Ensure availability of competitor product MI and strategy •Ensure availability of Product documentation for all channels •Develop and integrate sales literature and marketing support •Implement/manage customer feedback and complaint monitoring framework •Overall responsibility for customer and product MI reports •Provide market intelligence for management decision making •Provide customer insights to the strategy making process •Brand tracking and providing necessary insights to effective corporate / product brand management •Carry out all market research initiatives.

•Degree or a professional qualification in Marketing •Knowledge in the areas of Product Development Process •Knowledge in relation to customer management and market research •2 years of management experience in a similar capacity •Ability to make sound decisions based on analysis and evaluation of facts •Interpersonal skills e.g. managing cross functional teams •Communication (diplomatic, strategic) – verbal, written (e.g. reports), Presentations (developing and presenting) •Negotiation skills – Inter-organizational, Third Parties •Technological ‘Savviness’ •Understanding / interpreting MI.
