Jobs Description

To be responsible for the daily management of the Human Resources Department assisting with the implementation and administration of personnel policies, practices and procedures. 1. Overview in the routine function of Personnel Administration as well as employee welfare & benefit and all employee activities. 2. Participates in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies for the establishment. 3. Supporting to each department and make recommendations regarding Human Resource issues including staffing levels. 4. Monitors the Human Resources Department compliance with State Employment Legislation, Equal Employment Opportunity, Anti Harassment Policy, Industrial Awards and employee protection, ensures compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace. 5. Manages the recruitment systems within the company, paying particular attention to advertising, employee screening, reference checks. 6. Develops and administer company Human Resource Policies and Procedures. 7. Administer employee recognition programs. 8. Manages effective workplace injury management, ensuring rapid return to work programs are in place for all employees. 9. Assists and develop Department Heads to improve their own Management practices 10. Liaises with Department Heads on the development of up to date Job Descriptions. 11. Ensures development and performance reviews are conducted regularly, identifying key personnel for further development and structured career pathing. 12. Implements and maintains Human Resources Department training systems to ensure that employees have the necessary framework and skills to perform their job efficiently and effectively. 13. Develop training program 14. Prepares work schedules and annual leave schedules within budget, business expectations and guidelines of the appropriate industrial legislation. 15. Manages the selection and appointment of new employee within the Human Resources Department. 16. Conducts regular employee meetings to keep all employees informed. 17. Develop standards operating procedures, measurement and adjustment. 18. Implements opportunities for quality Team Building. 19. Responsible for payroll, overtime calculation 20. Ensures an effective and fair grievance procedure is maintained in line with appropriate legislation. 21. Working with senior management team and lines managers to identify staffing needs and respond accordingly. 22. Produce plans, strategies, reports and budgets 23. Keep confidential of company documentation 24. Oversee functions of HR services within company such as recruitment, hiring, payroll, employee record-keeping including contracts/agreements, compensation, and benefits for employees. 25. Develop and oversee implementation of Staff Policies; including interpretation and application of other existing company policies standards. 26. Update summary of monthly salaries and benefits changes of company staff for payroll preparation, and send to CEO|GM for approval.
