Jobs Description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Maintains proper staffing in all front office areas. 2. Assigns rooms, blocking room for reservation, special requests. 3. Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit and cash handling by following policies and procedures. 4. Make sure front desk and back office are cleaned 5. Verify room status and tracking status. 6. Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel. 7. Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day rooms. 8. Regularly produce daily and monthly report 9. Retains a working knowledge of the reservation. Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary with cancellation procedures. 10. Guidance to team how to use front office equipment. 11. Ensures room’s revenue is accounted for monitoring departures report and that employee are following correct credit procedures on day of departure and nightly credit check. 12. Regular print-out of back up reports on a shift to shift basis. 13. Works closely with Housekeeping department for an efficient turnaround of rooms and room status. 14. Good knowledge with E-commerce 15. Effectively communicates and disperses all and any relevant information via shift handover, log books, guest history, traces and by attending the regular Shift Leaders meetings. 16. Ensures that all billing instructions are accurate and clear. 17. Reports any potential credit risks immediately to Operation Manager. 18. Maintains and balances shift leader float. 19. Ensures there is sufficient supply of stationary and hotel keys. 20. Carries out room inspections to assist in maintaining a high standard of guest room cleanliness. 21. Assists with the co-ordination of the day to day operations of the reception desk according to Front Office Standards and Procedures. 22. Inspects VIP rooms prior to arrival, and meet and greet VIP guests on arrival. 23. Reviews all in-house accounts to ensure correct room rates are charged. 24. Encourage selling of Hotel outlets and facilities. 25. Effectively deals with guest problems and complaints immediately.

Jobs Requirement

Requirements: 1- Bachelor degree or fresh graduate in hospitality 2- Some experiences in OTAs 3- 1- 3 years’ experience with front office in supervision level 4- Strong communication skills, with excellent spoken and written both in Khmer and English. 5- Chinese language experience is added advantage 6- Willing to work with rotation shift
