Location : Cluster Project Site, Kampong Chhnang Province Schedule : Full-time Report to : SGC Director Salary : Base on largely on qualification and experience DUTIES • Plan and direct food preparation as well as all type of culinary activities • Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards • Coordinate with the production chef cook, baker and other employee to ensure that food is prepared in economical way, technically correct and within budgeted labor cost goals • Ensure a high standard of hygiene, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times • Evaluate food products to ensure that company quality standards are consistently attained • Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs • Supervise kitchen staff’s activities • Arrange for equipment purchases and repair • Recruit and manage kitchen staff • Rectify arising problems or complaints • Give prepared plates the “final touch” • Perform administrative duties • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards • Keep time and payroll record • Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers, students and employees • Smoothly daily schedule in the whole kitchen • Represent the Farmhouse Smiling Gecko • Create good working atmosphere • Responsibility for the kitchen • To ensure the quality- and service standard • Manage the warehouse

• Proven working experience as a head chef • Excellent record of kitchen management in all parts • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently • Capable of delegating multiple tasks • Communication and leadership skills • Keep up with cooking trends and best practices • Good skill in all parts of the kitchen • Working knowledge of various computer software programs MS Office • Good in speech and script in Khmer and English ** Application Information • Smiling Gecko Cambodia provides equal chance of employment regardless of race or religion.
