- Help kids learn skills along with the teacher - Assist classroom teacher with the organization of activities (i.e. nursery rhymes, photocopy) - Translate for students when necessary - Oversee the safety of students while in the school premise - Communicate with parents about student issues and progress - Treat each student with respect - Talk to students in soft voice - Assist students with snacks, going to bathroom, taking shower, taking nap and other needs - Contribute to the creation of a safe and warm learning environment
