- Review and recommend changes to MEP engineering design from concept through to construction and site supervision to ensure cost effectiveness and quality - Ensure that designs are according to local rules, regulations and design guides - Review and make recommendations to technical specifications ensuring it is within budget during tendering process - Direct, monitor and control the activities of MEP subcontractors & resolve any issues during construction to ensure timely delivery of the project - Liaise with service engineers &technicians;, surveyors, architects and other construction professionals - To understand and assess installation methods and sequence of work - Draw up plans, write briefs and report on progress in a timely manner - Carry out tests on systems and make changes to plans where necessary - Ensure that MEP contractors adheres to design and project safety regulations - Understand and ensure all contractors adhere to project management manual - Manage and grow a team - Other jobs as required by Project Manager

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer or related field - Minimum 5 year experiences in Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing or related experiences - Experience in a variety of buildings will be preferred but not essential Competencies (Technical & Behavioral skills) - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work under pressure and towards a deadline - Ability to liaise well with professionals from other disciplines - Good knowledge of design of power distribution, plumbing and ventilation systems - Dynamic, flexible & proactive - Friendly and approachable - Attention to detail - Very good in English - Computer literate
