Jobs Description

- ANNUAL SALES PLAN - Assist in drawing up the marketing plan annually with the Resident Manager. - MONTHLY REPORT - Responsible for monthly reporting to the Resident Manager and Board of Directors. - SALES BUDGET REVEIWS - Prepares and administers the hotel Sales Department budget on a monthly basis. - SALES CALL SCHEDULES- Oversees the regular sales visit in accordance to a predetermined plan. - SALES CALL REPORTS - Presents a summary of your sales visits to the Resident Manager. - MANAGING THE TEAM - Supervise all daily sales tasks and sales account statistics; provides ongoing sales direction to subordinate staff by implementing the joint call program and providing guidance and direction on the development and execution of customer interviews and action plans. - TEAM CUSTOMER SERVICE - Ensure prompt reply (24h) to all requests for proposal and other enquiries. - YIELD REVENUE MEETINGS - Conduct weekly yield meeting with Sales Team and Reservation. - ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT - Supervises the record on former, existing, potential clients and a profile of each of them. - CREDIT CHECK - Ensures that all new clients have no negative credit references. - TRAINING - Provide essential training for the sales team on a monthly basis to maintain efficiency and motivation. * SALES - SALES CALLS - Pays visits to former, existing and potential clients, local and international. - NEGOTIATING - Negotiates rates with the clients for potential groups and series. - CONTRACTING - Confirms verbal proposals in writing. - PACKAGES - Creating and promoting hotel packages to increase business volume - ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT - Oversees TA and OTA portfolio for all markets; defining precisely client’s requirements and ensures that the services offered corresponds effectively to their requests. - ALLOTMENTS - Maintaining and updating potential allotments for Website and Inbound Partner. - GROUPS/SERIES – Maintaining potential group and series contracting and materialization. - CUSTOMER SERVICE - Ensures after-sales service and in particular to ensure all guests complaints are taken seriously and discussed with the respective departments if necessary. - HANDLING COMPLAINTS - Ensures that all complaints are reviewed, investigated and follow-up action is initiated. - PLAN EXECUTION - Achieves (a) budgeted revenues on key accounts and (b) conversion of key prospects through the preparation and execution of acting plans. - EXTERNAL LIASONS - Maintains a close working rapport with professional people, the press, media, staff, clients/guests and companies who are potential existing and current supporters of the resort. * MARKETING - MARKETING COLLATERALS – oversees the marketing collaterals - MARKETING CAMPAIGNS – oversees the organization of local media exposure for local events. - MARKETING EXPENSE – draws up the marketing expense annually with the Resident Manager. * E-COMMERCE - E-COMMERCE - Manage and control the e-commerce. * WEBSITE/ SOCIAL MEDIA - WEBSITE – manage and control updating website of the resort. - SOCIAL MEDIA – manage all social medias and review websites * COMMERCIAL - OPERATIONS – works closely with the operation department heads especially in key departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Spa, etc.). - MARKETING INTELLIGENCE - Closely observes matters pertaining to competition (sites, prices, services offered on a regular basis - quarterly or more often if need be). - PRESENTATION/ INSPECTIONS - Promotes the hotel and its services through entertaining, conducting, site inspections, presentations etc. of the resort.
