You are NOT required to have Salesforce knowledge (if have that is great); but you should be a person willing to learn new technologies. Working with Apex Programming Language, Apex code is the first multi-tenant, on-demand programming language for developers interested in building the next generation of business applications. So you will need to have: - Knowledge of Object-oriented programming paradigm - English communication - Solid background in Java programming or others languages (Apex is similar to Java) - Willing to learn new technologies ( Salesforce, Apex Language, Unit Testing, ... ) - Proficiency in Web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Lightning Component) - Understanding create & usage Web Service: RESTful and SOAP is a plus - Understanding of Relational database and SQL (similar to Salesforce SOQL) - Understanding of QA processes, required Unit Test (Knowledge of others test automation is a plus) - Able to work independently or in a team environment
