Jobs Description

We have a brand new staff canteen with a well-equipped kitchen. We are looking for Chef to prepare meals for our staff and Company. Roles and Responsibilities: - Prepare, cook and present dishes for staff. - To plan, innovate and develop weekly menu. - To work closely, coordinate and rotate with other Chef on preparation of 4 meals per day: breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper. - To purchase food items and supplies from the market and grocery store based on planned menu. - In charge of daily kitchen operations, which includes but not limited to budgeting, costing, stock and inventory, and waste management. - Manage and train local kitchen staff to assist in daily kitchen operations. - Maintain the highest quality of food preparation and cooking. - Practice the highest level of sanitation, hygiene and cleanliness. - Ensure a safe, well-maintained and hygienic kitchen and staff canteen environment at all times. - Conducts daily inspections of all areas of the kitchen and staff canteen to ensure compliance with established standards. - Ensure all cooking equipment and utensils are cleaned and re-assembled after each use, and in proper working order. - Perform daily cleaning responsibilities. - You will be reporting to the Administration Manager and is expected to work closely with the Administration Department. - Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Jobs Requirement

- Good knowledge of Asian/Indonesian/Malaysian/Thai/Chinese cuisine and culinary skills. - At least 2-3 years and above relevant working experience in the food and beverage industry or similar capacity. - Good general understanding and knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods i.e. prep work, sauté, grill, pan and deep fry cooking, poaching, steaming, braising, roasting, and baking. - Good knowledge of safe and efficient use of all kitchen equipment including storage/handling techniques and sanitation standards. - Good knowledge of food presentation procedures including managing ingredients, cooking techniques, food portion and food presentation. - Self-motivated, able to multitask and work under pressure with minimum supervision. - Good team player with positive attitude. - Open to ideas, suggestions and recommendations from Immediate Supervisors and/or Management. - Applicant must be willing to work on shift. - APPLICANT MUST BE WILLING TO WORK IN SIHANOUK VILLE, CAMBODIA.
