- Lead the Business Planning - Budgeting and Forecasting process including, establishing timetable - Developing business plan/strategy presentation packs [SWOT’s, Market Analysis, Key Assumptions, etc…] - Developing data templates and proforma’s, and preparation presentation pack for Board Review and Approval, with the plans, - Budgets and forecasts to include: profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, capital expenditure and disposals, as well as key operational data (volumes ..etc) and KPI’s. - Provide timely, reliable and relevant management information for performance monitoring. - Analyze the management information, investigating major variances, highlighting key trends and asking questions as appropriate where additional information is required. - Work with Head of Reporting & Controlling and Business Managers in developing Business Improvement action plans to address performance gaps. Identifying key risks and opportunities and Key Challenges - Assist Head Reporting & Controlling in the development of benchmarks and work with the other finance departments in setting up a Financial Calendar and developing, documenting and implementing the Accounting Policies. - Product costing (for applicable Business Units) SAP System Configuration: work with Finance, Production and Consultants in setting up the product costing. - Overseeing the monthly product cost variance analysis and investigation for the Manufacturing businesses. - Staff Coaching and Development - Coach and develop direct reports, with a focus on upgrading talent pool. - Support and train non-finance department staff in understanding the end to end process and interface between finance and the business. - Carry out any work / projects as requested by Head of Reporting & Controlling. - Provide input from a finance perspective on systems/information requirements/CoA set up for new projects

- University graduate, major in Accounting or Finance - Master in Business Administration (ideally) - Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant - Professional Experience - Strong business controlling and management skills. - At least 5 years of experience in Business Planning, Budgeting, Costing, etc.. - Experience in Financial Control is an advantage. - Management Accounting(Costing) in industry (ideally) Knowledge - Knowledge of accounting and/or finance. - Knowledge of business models and strategy. - Knowledge of SAP / ERP / BI system. - Advance Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint - Numerate, accurate and analytical. - Confident with strong presentation skills. - Ability to think creatively. - Ability to manage team as well - Self-motivated / driven. - Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members within finance and in cross-functional project roles.
