- Attend client meetings to understand and record the project purpose, budget and any special requirements by accurately completing the project brief - Arrange meeting with client to deliver design proposals for small scale projects - Arrange and explain to client the final layout of the project in order to freeze design ** Concept Development: - Effectively research and collate design references and case studies that best meet client needs in terms of intended use and design preference - Prepare and produce and oversee design presentations with relevant drawings and sketches to communicate how design concept matches with project brief as well as HKA design flair - Conduct and produce report of site studies to understand the environment, surroundings and constraints that will influence design concept ** Schematic Design: - Upon approval of design, prepare and deliver schematic drawings as per schedule - Have a good understanding of MEP, construction and structural methods and how it can impact on design feasibility - Effectively collaborate with consultants to ensure feasibility of design and that design intent is maintained - Have a good understanding of HKA standards, and building codes and regulations and how they impact on design and make changes accordingly ** Others - Enforce HKA filing standards in drawings ensuring that all project files have the correct labels and annotations - May be required to work on a team for larger and more complex projects - To lead and motivate team members as required - Other tasks as required.

- Have at least 5 years’ experience in design - Demonstrated experience with different projects - Great leadership, interpersonal and communication skills - Logical and critical thinker with an eye for detail - High level of creativity and imagination
