- Monitor and supports the chef in the preparation of different foods. - Monitor in all kitchen related activities including ordering for supplies. - Monitor with the coordination of banqueting events alongside the restaurant manager - Monitor with the selection and training of other kitchen staff. - Monitor with the planning of menus. - Meal preparation. - Monitor with the preparation, cooking and presentation of different foods in the hospital. - Monitor with the enforcement of health and safety standard within the kitchen. - Ensures that customers are served quality food and in a manner that is timely. - Ensure that workplace area allocated is well presented at all times. - Monitor working environment and work practices to ensure standards of Occupational - Health and Safety are met for the benefit of all employees. - Undertake other duties from time to time as directed by chef manager
