1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the firm’s vision and growth objectives.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for clients. Conduct in-depth financial evaluations to support business decisions.

3. Tax Planning & Compliance: Lead client tax planning strategies while ensuring full compliance with Cambodian tax laws. Stay abreast of changes in regulations and provide actionable insights

4. Client Relationship Management: Serve as a key advisor to major clients, providing expert guidance on complex accounting and tax matters and ensuring long-term partnership success.

5. Team Oversight: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across accounting, tax, compliance, and operations. Promote professional development and maintain high performance standards.

6. Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to streamline operations, enhance client service, and increase efficiency across departments.

7. Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure strong internal controls, manage operational risk, and maintain compliance with IFRS, CAS, tax law, and regulatory requirements.

8. Technology & Systems: Leverage digital tools and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, ERP) to drive operational excellence and accurate reporting.

9. Business Development: Partner with top leadership on strategic growth, service

diversification, and client acquisition opportunities.

10. Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the firm in industry events, regulatory discussions, and board-level meetings. Maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, and banking partners.

11. Special Projects & Executive Support: Collaborate with the CEO and senior management on high-impact initiatives and strategic priorities as needed.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

2. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification (highly preferred)

3. Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive finance or operations experience, with 4+ years in senior leadership roles

4. In-depth knowledge of Cambodian tax law, IFRS, CAS, and cross-border compliance

5. Proven success in managing multi-functional teams and driving operational improvements

6. Strong background in consulting, professional services, or multi-entity business environments

7. Advanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and risk management

8. Proficiency in accounting tools (Xero, QuickBooks, Excel, ERP systems)

9. Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities

10. Fluent in English; Khmer language skills are an advantage

11. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior executives and nonfinancial stakeholders
