- Lead team to complete audit assignments as stated in the Approved Audit Plan/directed by Head of Internal Audit. - Plan, control and perform audit assignments in adherence to the internal policies and procedures, rules, regulations and guidelines issued by the regulatory authorities. - Prepare Audit Planning Memorandum, audit commencement letter, audit program, work papers and draft audit reports in accordance with the IA Department standards. - Submit audit works (e.g. Audit Planning Memorandum, new/revised audit program, draft audit issues/reports and work papers) on timely basis (i.e. in accordance to the IA Department standards) to Head of Internal Audit for review. - Update Head of Internal Audit on progress of audit/projects/administrative tasks on timely basis. - Provide timely feedback to Head of Internal Audit on the result of audit reviews or assignments and development of audit findings. - Provide comments to Auditees (with the approval of Head of Internal Audit) in terms of risk management, compliance and control issues (where possible). - Undertake special investigations or projects assigned/approved by the Head of Internal Audit. - Supervise Internal Audit staff by providing direction, guidance and on-the-job training. - Assist, monitor and improve in audit administration matters, including update of audit programs with new or revised Institution’s policies, procedures and applicable rules, regulations and guidelines issued by the regulatory authorities. - Perform any other additional duties/matters ancillary to the above that may be assigned by Head of Internal Audit.

- University degree in banking/finance, accounting,business, or economics, preferably a specialized accounting degree. - 3 years+ experience as Auditor in the microfinance/ banking/ audit sector is an advantage. - Ability to communicate effectively with staff, team members and managements in both written and verbal form. - Have great attention to detail. - Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to comfortable communicate to all levels of managements. - Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles/standards, and familiarity with various computer systems and applications. - Must possess highly developed analytical skills and the ability to think creatively about ways to analyze MFI’s operations
