•Ensuring that the Control Rooms remain secure at all times and that no unauthorized person enter the Control Rooms, •Monitoring and controlling all sally port doors that enter into the secured area of the facility, also, monitoring and controlling all of the sally port doors in the housing units, •Ensuring the surveillance monitors are observed at all times, •Monitoring of all fire alarms within the facility, •Functioning as a dispatcher for the Correctional Center radio communication system, •Signing up visitors coming in to see inmates, •Monitoring visiting inmates and visitors, •Credit any cash and/or money orders to the appropriate inmate account fund, and generate receipts, •Anwer public inquires from the bonding/visiting lobbies, •May perform other duties as assigned

•Associate's degree or higher in any discipline, •Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors, •Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public, •Effective oral and written communication skills, •Active listening skills, •Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively, •Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately, •Attention to detail.
