Jobs Description

o To keep the working area neat and tidy at all time, ensure city map and guide books are available, read and acknowledge log book on a daily basis. o To meet and greet guests "with a smile" and process registration formalities, correctly completed, and updated in the Room Master system timely, paying particular attention to charge-out details and credit rules and to ensure guests luggage are delivered to guests rooms timely. o To escort guests to their respective rooms and to be able to give hotel and rooms information as well as the city in general as of procedure, and ensure all wake up calls for guests are well taken care of. o To liaise with reservations and pre-allocate rooms, understanding the preferences of guests. and to ensure that whenever you answering any inquiry, always be cheerful, polite, and smile and ensure to have full understanding about hotel’s product and service including the effectiveness of tour/transportation and other activities arrangement. o To liaise closely with Reservations, in a way to update the bookings correspondences, and Housekeeping department on check outs, moves, etc. o To arrange alternative suitable accommodation, first at sister’s hotels, for a confirmed or regular guest, if the hotel is fully occupied. o To report any faults or defects to the maintenance department and update Room Master system. o To perform Reservations and Telephone Operator duties in the absence of the Reservationist. With guidance of FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISOR communicate with departing guests, ensure they enjoyed their stay and complete Fast Feedback with departing guests as of agreed procedure. o To ensure cash float is sufficient in amount of small notes and local currency, ensure all the billing of guests are well prepared and accurate. o To perform check out timely, and update guests profile in Room Master as of agreed procedure. o Must be familiar with all documents, forms, and equipment in order to able to respond to any guest inquiry or request in an accurate and efficient way. Front Office Agent/Reservation Officer o Must be familiar her/himself with all cultural and fashionable places, new events which are taking place in the region of the hotel. o Ensure to have knowledge of recommended restaurants, couriers services ,bars ,shops etc, to provide the full information in an effective and fast way to the guests o To ensure that confidential information such as occupancy, room revenue, room rate…ect are not divulged to any parties without Front Office Manager/General Manager approval. o To attend the Front Office meeting and daily afternoon briefing in a way to have the up to date information, promotion, and package etc. and assume other duties as assigned by Front Office Manager

Jobs Requirement

- High school graduated or higher education - Good command of English language - Friendly to the guests and coworker - Ability to work independently with minimum supervision - Pleasant personality, positive attitude, hardworking, reliable, honest and efficient - Ability to use MS Word & Excel is a plus
