- To ensure that all products arriving in the yard are put in the correct location - To ensure that the daily Order Picking Schedule is completed - To ensure that the quality of order picking meets the standards set down by the company - To ensure that all orders/packs are securely strapped & wrapped to allow for safe delivery - Supervise the yard team to ensure high standard of customer service - To ensure that all customer lorries/vehicles receive priority in loading/unloading - To assist with serving customers in other department when required - To ensure that all container, goods and other item are loaded/unloading in a safe manner - Ensure the yard is keep tidy to assist in the health and safety of the branch - To work any overtime required within the Branch to meet customer demand - To participate in any training required within the role - Carry out any other duties which instruction as requested from time to time by the manager in relation to cover for the duties - Whilst this job description reflects the main duties, it is not exhaustive.
