Jobs Description

1. Developing business strategy and marketing plans for the Representative Office over short and medium term to ensure that the Representative Office is aligned with the overall strategy and able to achieve the target market position. 2. Developing and executing sales and customer acquisition strategies to win more business by building a strong sales and service culture amongst team members. 3. Ensuring that the Representative Office only books creditworthy business in according with company guidelines. 4. Managing the Representative Office to deliver excellent customer service to customers by representing the company to the local authorities, customers and agents. 5. Ensures that the Representative Office is following policies and procedures in accordance with company’s overall policies and procedures. 6. Monitoring overall market situation, changes in law and regulations, and competition in the country. Be ready to report back material information to the company for risk and opportunities. 7. Participating in associations and attending events when and where beneficial to cargo-partner group. 8. Representing the company to all internal and external visitors in a professional manner 9. Encouraging the increase of business from partner agent in Myanmar to cargo-partner’s own and agent networks. 10. Providing regular reports to his/her superior to show progresses / difficulties of the representative office. 11. Driving and motivating the team to achieve business targets by building and keeping strong team work spirit at all times. 12. Providing coaching, guiding and training opportunities to all staff within the Representative Office and ensuring the group standards are met by all the staff. 13. To take up additional assignments/tasks as required meeting with the Company needs.

Jobs Requirement

- University degree in Business Administration/ Logistics or equivalent with at least 5 years’ management experience - Special Knowledge: Freight forwarding - Computer basic knowledge, MS Office - English language - Personal Qualification Strong Leadership skills - Presentation and communication skills Business development ability / Commercial mind Negotiation skills - Strong in implementation and follow up - Professional competence - Dynamic, structured, flexible and ambitious - Motivating/ Self-Motivating - Willingness and ability to travel
