Jobs Description

-Work with HIA to updated AMK internal audit universe, approach, associated policies, procedures, etc. -Work with HIA and senior management team to ensure IAD approach and testing procedures continuously evolve and provide concrete value to the business. -Lead the implementation of new procedures and technologies within IAD. -Join preparation of Annual Audit Plan with Head of Internal Audit – Office, Branch and Department Plan -Monitor and implement the Annual Audit Plan and update HIA -Review and support on IA working paper and procedure designation as well as development and update of Audit Universe -Review and update reports into dashboard for Executives and Management -Discussion on audit reports, critical audit matters identified, meeting with related management team for specific issues addressed -Coordinates works with Risk and other departments which undertake control related activities -Performs audit procedures to verify that controls are operating through testing and interviewing techniques -Conducts risk assessments on new business channels and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks -Analyses and concludes on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment -Identifies control gaps and opportunities for improvement -Work with HIA on reviewing of Internal Audit Policy to ensure relevant and up to date -Provide training to staff and ensure that audit staff is staying up-to-date of the developments of the institution and help staff to achieve their career plan -Ensure constant improvement of IA performance and quality as well as efficiency -Support HIA in identifying talent of the team and forming up specialized staff for specific responsibility -Other tasks assigned by HIA.

Jobs Requirement

-A minimum university degree in banking/finance, accounting, business or economics, preferably a specialized accounting degree; IIA understanding is preferable. ACCA qualification or MBA is an advantage -At least 3 years of experience in management position in area of auditing (internal or external) and majority in the micro-finance sector or financial management experience -Good understanding of Cambodian and international accounting principles and standards and standards as well as IFRS or CIFRS -Strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office) and good understanding and working experience of MIS for micro-finance -Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to liaison with cross functional groups, present results to management, and create effective presentations -Rigor, discipline and integrity -Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff -Innovative/creative, solution oriented -Strong strategic thinking and flexibility relating to internal audit and business related -Staff supervision, training/coaching and management experience -Good written and spoken English, communication and interpersonal skills -High motivation and ability to work without supervision.
