Jobs Description

•lead the organization development (od) function for organization effectiveness encompassing employee relations and communications, learning and development and corporate social responsibility •develop and implement od and culture change programs in order to drive continuous improvement and bridge capacity and capability gaps across the bank •work with the management team for the development, implementation and evaluation of od programs to deliver continuous improvement through culture change and employee development •develop and implement a reward and recognition programs that enables the bank both to retain talents as well as become an employer of choice for long term sustainability •develop and implement employee relations process to promote positive working environment and culture •promote diversity and equality in the bank to ensure that talents are fully utilized and bank goals are achieved through the principle of inclusivity •develop line managers to deliver effective people management and optimize the performance of individual employees •support cultural change and optimize performance through the effective implementation of and embedment of the bank’s core values •develop and implement a comprehensive induction program for interns and new employees to introduce them to the bank as well as enabling them to become proficient in their role •work with the head of marketing & communications to develop and embed the bank’s organizational culture, core values and behaviors for effective delivery of the bank’s products and services •develop a learning culture with a strong focus on achieving the full potential of employees through a wide range of development interventions including coaching, mentoring and action learning •work with the head of marketing & communications to implement and promote an effective internal communication process that offers an effective route of communication that enhances the bank’s work environment •update on best practices in od through reading and attendance at relevant programs/events/forums and apply such practices to the development of the bank as a learning organization •maintain close working relationships with all employees and help to build an open and honest culture that facilitates learning, creativity and excellence •be able to engage all employees and customers alike, treating them with respect at all times and resolve any issues where possible or refer such issues directly to the relevant units •undertake any other roles at the request of the general manager/head of corporate resources including involvement in projects as well as relief duties •comply with the policies and procedures of the bank at all times

Jobs Requirement

•A bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field •3-5 years of related experience in employee relations and development •Self-motivated, flexible and proactive •Demonstrate ability to handle multiple, possibly conflicting priorities •Possesses leadership ability and strong communication and interpersonal skills •Possesses strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision making skills •Practice and promote integrity and ethical behavior •Ability to work & communicate well with employees at all levels of the organization •Communicate effectively with all levels within the organization •Good computer skills (Ms. Office, internet/email)
