• Assist M&E Manager and M&E department in developing a realistic workplan for the monitoring and evaluation of project activities. • Plan, organize and conduct trainings on surveys, routine program monitoring and other research/studies when needed. This includes listing and requesting for needed supplies, transportation; and cash advance. • Plan, organize and coordinate data collection activities. This includes listing and requesting necessary supplies, transportation and cash advances. • Assist M&E Manager in tracking use of survey materials and equipment. • Supervise and monitor field data collection activities to ensure good data quality. • Assist M&E Manager in setting up databases, using software such as data builder and SPSS. • Assist M&E Manager in data processing, including data entry, quality control of data entry, cleaning, and data analysis when required. • Provide regular updates to M&E Manager on status of the data collection, processing and analysis. • Provide support to M&E Manager on written translation and report writing when needed. • Undertake other duties assigned by M&E Manager.

• Master Degree in Sociology, Public Health, or other areas of study with significant data collection/analysis components, plus at least 5 years of related work experience. • Strong working knowledge of statistics, common data analysis software, especially SPSS and qualitative research. • Demonstrated track record in undertaking and supporting data collection, analysis and report writing. • Technical knowledge of nutrition programs, public health and eye health programs preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with external contacts. • Excellent communication and language skills: Excellent oral and written English. • Ability and willingness to undertake extensive field travel when needed.
