Arranging and updating the Approve Supplier List & Contractor compliance. + To ensure a best-practice operational purchasing commercial materials, services and other agencies is implemented, and safeguarding company’s interests at all times, such as conducting cost management, ensuring supply continuity, compliance with regulations, developing suppliers and staffs capability, and conducting professional relationship with suppliers. Key responsibilities: - Sourcing of supplies, information on pre-qualified suppliers, decide to invite quotation and negotiation. - Analyze the purchase options and propose recommendations (review and evaluation of quotation). - Order placement and monitoring, including amendment and cancellation. - Searching market information and analyse demand pattern, develop and implement sourcing and supplier strategy, develop concept and idea generation. Develop networking, database, and new vendor. - Conduct negotiation to drive continuous performance improvement of supplier, monitor performance, capacity and capability suppliers in order continue to keep the speed, quality, cost leadership, security of supply, customer satisfaction, payment terms and other terms and conditions. - Develop and analyse demand pattern and simplify process through having more contract or PO blanket to suppliers. - Assist Purchasing & Distribution Manager to manage colleagues by intensive coach & educate member of team as part of his/her development and success. - Conduct a transparent purchasing practice by giving the comparison, use market info or trending and reccomend for decision making prior to make the self decision, complying with rule and purchasing policy, and develop an efficient purchasing administration. - Regularly monitor the outstanding RFP and PO from receiving RFP till stocks receiving by the user and payments are done to suppliers to prevent miss order, delivery and complaint. - To arrange proper filling of the PO and other purchase documents. - Source for best logistics cost to import goods from overseas supplier for each order. - Verify the shipping document for smooth clearance. - Arrange with clearance companies to clear and ensure the goods are cleared with right import taxes. - Ensure proper legal document as well as other required information for management approval of requested supplier into ASL list. - Ensure to conduct regular meeting with management on ASL list approval as per process. - Other duties and initiatives to be assigned as seen fit by the management or as proposed by the candidate
