- Lead the quality team and provide necessary training, guidance and grooming to meet objectives

- Assist in ensuring site-compliance with customer/regulatory standards

- Assist in ensuring a qualified Quality team by recruitment, coaching, development, performance evaluation

- Ensure proper compliance of raw materials as per customer standards.

- Ensuring GMP (cleanliness, 5S) in the entire factory

- Ensure good in-process quality of production/packaging operation, in order to guarantee the quality of finished goods. This involves checking and ensuring good working condition of each equipment involved in production of finished goods (periodic calibration, daily in-process checks, etc)

- Ensure the quality of finished goods before loading/shipment (container check, sampling, etc) to ensure that the right product is delivered to the customer meeting highest possible quality level

- Proper handling of non-conforming products/processes and escalating to management if needed.

- Coordinating effectively with varied functions such as Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Logistics and if needed customer too. Implement best practices and know-how from the company’s site in Thailand

- Implement, maintain, & improve quality systems e.g BRC, ISO 9001:2015, GMP, HACCP, Halal, Kosher, Organic, Fairtrade & Gluten free

- Regular auditing of in-house and outsourced operations (local raw material suppliers) to ensure proper quality

- Representing the company as Auditee in important quality audits by certify bodies & customers; BRC, ISO 9001:2015, GMP, HACCP, Halal, Kosher, Organic, Fairtrade, Gluten free, etc.

- Handling customer interactions appropriately (complaints, questionnaire, etc)

- Implement, verify and maintain updated factory documentation; Quality manual (QM), Quality procedure (QP), Support document (SD), Work instruction (WI), Form (FM), etc.

- Monitoring product related regulations (local, foreign) of shipment destinations

- Other tasks assigned by commander

- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, Argo-industry or related fields.

- Around 10 years of working experience in QA/QC function from Food or related industries.

- Team management and leading skills

- Good understanding of GMP/HACCP/BRC/HALAL certifications.

- Good command of English (reading, writing and speaking skills) and Computer literacy.

- Prior experience interacting directly with customer would be beneficial

- Analytical thinking, problem solving, supervisory and communication skills.

- Ability to work under pressure

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
