• Lead and manage the Research & Development function and formulate new food products, ingredients, additives, or chemical formulations.
• Improve existing product formulas for cost optimization, quality enhancement, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Conduct laboratory experiments, trials, and product testing (shelf-life, stability, sensory evaluation).
• Analyze raw materials, additives, and packaging impacts on product performance.
• Prepare technical documentation including formula sheets, COA, MSDS, SOPs, and trial reports.
• Support scale-up from lab testing to pilot production to full manufacturing.
• Work closely with QA/QC to ensure product compliance with food safety
• standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, etc.).
• Conduct research on market and industry trends, new materials, and competitor products.
• Troubleshoot technical or formulation problems during production.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and food chemical safety standards.
• Provide technical support to sales, marketing, and customer feedback
• improvements.
• Maintain accurate lab records and follow safety guidelines.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering,
• Biotechnology, or related fields.
• 3 years ‘up experience in food manufacturing, beverage, nutrition, chemicals, or R&D laboratory.
• Strong understanding of food formulation, food chemistry, additives, and processing technology.
• Experience with lab equipment and analytic instruments (pH meter, viscometer, spectrophotometer, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO22000, Codex standards preferred.
• Familiar with sensory evaluation and shelf-life testing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong documentation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Can use English or Khmer documentation skills
