Jobs Description

  • Assist the Manager in supervising the data management team, allocating daily work, monitoring performance, coaching employees, and ensuring timely completion of assigned activities.
  • Monitor data outputs and review data-entry and collection processes to identify missing, inconsistent, duplicated, or inaccurate information and coordinate timely correction.
  • Apply established data-quality controls and support continuous improvement of data collection, verification, reconciliation, reporting, and record-retention processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for site data-collection requirements and provide practical guidance to employees who create, review, approve, or use operational data.
  • Coordinate routine review, revision, routing, approval, issuance, distribution, archiving, and periodic assessment of departmental SOPs and controlled documents.
  • Confirm that SOPs and work instructions reflect approved processes and current operating practices; escalate gaps or required changes to the responsible Manager and document owner.
  • Maintain accurate personnel training records, training matrices, schedules, completion evidence, and overdue-training follow-up, including Company corporate-mandated training requirements.
  • Support the General Manager, Manager, and Corporate Security with business continuity planning activities, document updates, contact lists, testing records, exercises, and assigned follow-up actions.
  • Participate as a member of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee when appointed, prepare or coordinate required information, maintain confidentiality, and complete assigned committee actions.
  • Coordinate administrative and document-control support for AAALAC preparation, program-description updates, evidence collection, site reviews, action tracking, and follow-up activities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely operational reports and dashboards related to Company Cambodia's key performance indicators; analyze trends and highlight exceptions, risks, or overdue actions for management review.
  • Maintain critical records in an organized, secure, current, and inspection-ready manner in accordance with applicable retention, confidentiality, and access-control requirements.
  • Coordinate schedules and documentation for testing of critical resources with Facilities, EHS&S, Site Managers, and other responsible functions, including water-testing and generator-testing records.
  • Verify that source documents, electronic records, trackers, and management reports are aligned and traceable, and support investigation and correction of discrepancies.
  • Control access to sensitive data and records according to authorized roles; promptly report suspected data loss, unauthorized access, confidentiality breaches, or record-integrity concerns.
  • Support inspections, audits, management reviews, and official visits by retrieving requested records, confirming completeness, tracking observations, and coordinating assigned corrective actions.
  • Train and coach employees on approved data-management procedures, document-control practices, data integrity, confidentiality, and the correct use of relevant systems and templates.
  • Provide regular status updates to the Manager on workload, data-quality issues, reporting deadlines, document status, training compliance, critical-record gaps, and improvement actions.
  • Support departmental planning, staffing recommendations, performance feedback, budget monitoring, and succession or development activities within delegated authority.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, safety procedures, biosecurity controls, animal-welfare requirements, and other applicable regulatory or quality standards.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Jobs Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in data management, information systems, computer science, statistics, business administration, quality management, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in data management, document control, quality, operations, administration, compliance, or reporting, including at least 2 years in a team-lead or supervisory capacity. Experience in a regulated, research, laboratory-animal, agricultural, pharmaceutical, or life-science environment is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education, relevant professional training, and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific requirements listed above.
  • Certification/Licensure: Professional training or certification in data management, database systems, records management, document control, quality management, auditing, business continuity, or project management is preferred.
  • Other: Strong knowledge of data-quality principles, records management, SOP administration, KPI reporting, training-record control, confidentiality, and access control. Demonstrated ability to review large volumes of information, detect discrepancies, analyze trends, organize priorities, and meet deadlines. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office is required; experience with databases, dashboards, Smartsheet, or other data-management systems is preferred. Strong supervisory, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Professional proficiency in Khmer and English is required; Chinese language capability is an advantage.
