Jobs Description

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform variance analysis between budget, forecast, and actual results.
Support management with financial insights for decision-making.
Supervise daily bookkeeping and transaction recording.
Manage general ledger, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
Oversee fixed asset register and depreciation schedules (important in port operations).
Ensure proper recording of port-related revenues (e.g., docking fees, handling charges, storage fees).
Ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT, WHT, and Corporate Income Tax.
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulators.
Ensure compliance with CIFRS.
Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
Strengthen controls around cash handling, receivables, and payables.
Support system improvements (Quickbook, Xero/accounting software).
Supervise junior accountants and bookkeepers.
Provide coaching, training, and review of their work.
Report to the Finance and Accounting Manager.

Jobs Requirement

Proficiency in English and Chinese languages
Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in taxation or accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree is an advantage)
Solid knowledge of general accounting principles and tax regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Good time management and organizational skills
